The Norwegian Film School (NFS) offers both bachelor and master education in filmmaking. Education at Norwegian Film School is financed by the state and free of charge for students.
Our new one year programme in Sports and Outdoors Tourism at LUC covers subjects within winter tourism, sports- and nature-based tourism, event management, and volunteer management in non-profit organizations, with a strong emphasis on field work and collaboration with providers.
The Double Degree programme offers students from selected partner institutions the opportunity to receive a degree from both home university and Lillehammer University College. Students participating in the programme will study two semesters at LUC and complete 60 ECTS of course work.

LUC is situated just outside the city of Lillehammer and has approximately 5000 students and an academic and administrative staff of 380 employees. All on one campus.
Norwegian institutions of higher education have an informal atmosphere and a strong focus on student involvement.

The olympic games provided the region with unique winter sports facilities and arenas such as: Håkonshall indoor sports arena, ski-jumping arena, ski-stadium for cross country skiing, Kanthaugen Freestyle Arena, Lillehammer Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge Track and the world famous downhill ski arenas, Hafjell and Kvitfjell.
Lillehammer hosted Winter Youth Olympic Games in February 2016.
