Lillehammer University College (LUC) is located in beautiful surroundings in central eastern Norway. The institution has a long tradition as education provider and is part of the Norwegian public higher education system. LUC is situated just outside the city of Lillehammer and has approximately 5000 students and an academic and administrative staff of 380 employees. All on one campus.

   

Lillehammer UC has a strategic focus on social sciences and media: This comprises public policy, media studies, international relations, history, film and television studies, economics and business administration, management and organisational studies, tourism, law, sports, psychology, sociology, cultural projects, child welfare, general and special education, social work, social education, welfare and social studies.

 

LUC carries national responsibilities for Film and Television education through the Norwegian Film Schooland the Faculty for Television production. In addition to a number of undergraduate - and graduate study programmes (at BA- and MA-level) LUC also offer three PhD-programmes:
