Student welfare organisations
SOPP is short for "Studentsamskipnaden i Oppland", which translates into English as The Foundation for Student Service in Oppland.

SOPP works to make sure that students enjoy a comfortable life outside of their studies. This means that many of their activities are concerned with student welfare, including social services, psychological treatment and daycares.

SOPP also runs a number of facilities for students, such as student housing, cafeterias and bookstores. We highly recommend to make use of their services.

Studentactivities
The student community offers a variety of activities for students to participate in. You can join groups of music, choir, dance, drama, photograpy, Student newspaper, Student radio, ski, outdoor, sports and movie.
